Post-grad, you'll find LaGrange psychology alums teaching at schools like Central Michigan University, Georgia College and State University, and the American University in Beirut. Others are in management and supervisory positions in business and industry, and are working for community and state agencies.
What else can you do with an advanced degree in psychology?
Clinical psychologists treat mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders.
Cognitive and perceptual psychologists study reasoning, thinking, and human perceptions.
Counseling psychologists work with individuals and families and with organizations to help people find solutions for work and career problems.
Developmental psychologists study the development of humans in the psychological realm. Often, they specialize in either pediatric or geriatric psychology.
Educational psychologists work in school settings and study teaching and learning strategies.
School psychologists counsel students, parents, and staff and seek solutions for behavioral or antisocial problems in students.
Engineering psychologists study and give advice on the interaction between people and machines. They frequently work in industry or in government settings.
Rehabilitation psychologists work together with other healthcare professionals on behalf of stroke or accident victims, helping clients to adapt to new lifestyles. Clients might be patients with developmental disabilities caused by cerebral palsy, epilepsy, or autism.
