Bachelor of Music - Composition & Music Technologies
LaGrange College's B. M. degree in Composition & Music Technologies takes each composition student through a complete process of writing for all of the orchestral families of instruments, chamber orchestra, solo voice and art song, with various rehearsal and recording sessions each semester. Over the course of the four year degree a composition student will have written at least one or more work for wind quintet, string quartet, brass quintet, percussion ensemble, solo voice art song, and chamber orchestra. These works are rehearsed and recorded for each composition student in our Callaway Auditorium concert hall with a professional engineer.

Bachelor of Music - Church Music
Embracing both traditional and contemporary musical practice our B.A. in Church Music is designed to prepare you for music ministry in the ever-changing and dynamic world of Christian worship leadership. Our B.A. in Church Music degree is interdenominational and well suited for students who wish to continue graduate studies in church music at the seminary/graduate school level or gain an appointment for full-time music ministry.

Bachelor of Music in Performance
(Voice, Piano, Organ, Guitar, Percussion)
This program of study is designed for students seeking careers as professional classical performers and/or studio teachers. Students admitted to this program of study must possess exceptional talent in their principal applied area, and instrumental and keyboard majors must demonstrate previous training. The curriculum couples rigorous scholarship with numerous performance opportunities, including partnerships with the LaGrange Symphony Orchestra Symphony Chorus, the LaGrange College Department of Theater Arts, and other on and off campus musical and cultural activities. This degree adequately prepares students for graduate study in performance.

Bachelor of Arts in Music
The B.A. in Music is a scholarly degree for those pursuing a broad, liberal arts-based music education. The capstone presentation should be a senior-level investigation of a topic approved by the music faculty. The student is encouraged to choose a complementary minor area of study.
