Why study music at LaGrange College?

They're on the theatrical stage, in performance halls, in recording studios and in churches. They've been published, recorded and can be heard 24/7 on the internet demonstrating their craft.

Are music scholarships available?
Yes. Music majors can audition for talent-based music scholarships at specific times during fall and spring semesters.

While most college students would prefer a much-needed break from school in the summer, Trey Duffey '12 asked the head of the LaGrange College Music Department for keys to the building and music studio.

Amy Peek “I knew I loved music from playing in church, but studying theory and being so involved in choir at my high school was what made me want to study music in college,” she says.

Now at LaGrange, Amy is working toward a bachelor’s degree in church music with a minor in church leadership.
