NHD National Qualifiers Workshop Registration
Saturday, April 30, 2016
Lewis Library, LaGrange College
Congratulations on moving on to the National level of National History Day! Workshop participants will have the opportunity to sit down with academics and experienced NHD judges to review their entry in its entirety. During the session you can:
- Review all components of your project
- Work on your thesis statement
- Discuss ways to strengthen your research
- Ensure clarity and familiarity with the new NHD rulebook
If you live more than 2 hours from LaGrange, you can schedule a Skype appointment. Please note that for those traveling to campus, you will have full access to the resources/facilities of Lewis Library both before and after your session. Here you will be able to access databases like the ‘Archive Americana’ along with the rest of Lewis’s excellent collection.
Also, please send a PDF copy of your process paper and annotated bibliography to firstname.lastname@example.org before Wednesday, April 27 so that we can review it before the meeting. If you are able, please scan your judge’s comment sheets that you received at the state competition and send them to that same email address. Upon registering, you will receive a confirmation email with more information, including your scheduled meeting time. If you have any questions, please contact us at email@example.com.
Registrations accepted until April 27, 2016.
