Bachelor of Arts in Human Development
Where Teaching, Psychology, and Human Services meet. In the Human Development major, you'll explore both theoretical and practical issues of learning. You'll learn the importance of particular classroom models for teaching and learning, as well as examine the historical, cultural, and social contexts that cause particular behavior patterns. When you complete the 180-quarter-hour program, you'll be well-equipped to advance within your local school system, Georgia Head Start, or other early childhood programs. If you graduate with a 2.5 GPA and are hired by a school district, you'll be eligible for alternate teacher certification through Georgia TAPP (Teacher Alternate Preparation Program).
