Clinical Mental Health Counseling
Prepare for a career as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
LaGrange College launches a master's degree program in Clinical Mental Health in fall, 2015. If you see yourself working as a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in settings such as mental health agencies, residential treatment programs or private practice, then this program may be for you.
Balance your life and your degree. Classes meet exclusively in the evenings so you can meet your other obligations and still advance professionally.
Make a difference. As a Counseling student, you will plan and implement service and advocacy projects in the community while earning your degree.
Get the preparation you need. LaGrange’s program provides a full 60 credit-hour degree that is based on the standards of the Council for the Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).
Enjoy real-world experience. You will benefit from three clinical experiences during your time in the program, graduating with 700 hours of experience in clinical settings.
Find support for the journey. Financial aid is available. Students also move through the program as a cohort, allowing for deep relationships between fellow students and faculty members.
The program is designed to be as cost-effective and valuable as possible. Expenses for the degree include $675 per credit hour; cost is estimated to be $40,500. Financial aid is available.
