Lydia Whitt Rosencrants

Lydia Whitt Rosencrants is the Accountancy Department Chair and Boatwright Associate Professor of Accountancy at LaGrange College. This is her eleventh year as a member of the LaGrange College faculty. In 1999, Dr. Rosencrants graduated from Michigan State University with her Ph.D. in Accounting. She has an undergraduate degree in Accounting from the University of Richmond. Dr. Rosencrants' primary work experience is in the auditing field. She worked as an auditor for a big-4 firm as well as for the Virginia State Bureau of Insurance. She has taught a wide variety of courses in the accounting and finance areas. She is a member of several professional organizations including the American Institute of CPAs, Georgia Society of CPAs, Institute of Management Accountants, and American Accounting Association. She serves as a Council Member for the GSCPA, GSCPA Educational Foundation Board Member and Secretary for the Accounting Program Leadership Group Board of Governors.

Dr. Rosencrants is married to Scott, and they have seven children. She enjoys yoga and reading.
