Cindi Bearden is an Associate Professor of Business at LaGrange College.  She received her Computer Science diploma at Ayers Community College, her B.S. in Accounting from Jacksonville State University, and her Master of Accountancy from the University of Alabama.  Cindi holds an Alabama CPA certificate.  A 19 veteran in college accounting education, she has been honored as "Accounting Teacher of the Year" at the University of North Alabama and "Delta Mu Delta Teacher of the Year" at Birmingham-Southern College.  She is currently in her tenth year with LaGrange College.  Cindi's primary emphasis is Financial Accounting, however, she also teaches regularly in Personal Finance and Business Communications.  Cindi serves as the faculty adviser for the LaGrange College chapter of Delta Mu Delta honor society and holds the 2007 title of Faculty Adviser of the year with that organization. 

Cindi volunteers outside of the classroom at the Pregnancy Center, the Red Cross, and Western Heights Baptist Church youth program and Missions Team.
