Marcia Langham Brown

Marcia Langham Brown , Professor of Art and Design, received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in drawing and painting from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC in 1978. In 1982, she received a Master of Fine Arts degree in printmaking from the University of Georgia in Athens, GA. Ms. Brown has been on the faculty of LaGrange College since 1987, where she developed both the graphic design and printmaking programs. She currently teaches courses in graphic design, printmaking, book arts and papermaking.

Ms. Brown's work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibits both regionally and nationally. Her current work explores objects and images partially buried beneath the surface, paralleling the way our subconscious memories and desires reveal themselves in everyday life.
