The Georgia Undergraduate Art History Forum was conceived in the belief that art history students benefit from meeting and sharing their ideas with colleagues, presenting their research in a public forum, and becoming active participants in their discipline. We wish them long and productive careers in the richly rewarding field of art history.
The Department of Art and Design at LaGrange College will host the Seventh Annual Art History Forum, Friday, March 7, 2007 from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm, in the lecture Room at the Lamar Dodd Art Center. We invite undergraduate art history students from all Georgia colleges and universities to submit proposals for papers to be read at the forum. Papers may treat any topic in the history of art. Submit by e-mail an abstract of no more than two double-spaced pages by January 18, 2008. Only one proposal per student, please. Include your paper title, name, address, e-mail address, phone number, name of your supervising professor, or and your academic affiliation.
Digital projection and screens will be provided. You should bring a CD or thumb drive arranged in a power point presentation. Papers are strictly limited to 20 minutes.
E-mail abstract to Dorothy Joiner (djoiner@lagrange.edu) Acceptances will be announced on February 14, 2008
