American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program

June 5–30 and July 10-21
Monday - Friday 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. (in one-hour increments)

Class size is limited to 10 students per class, and classes will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please indicate your first, second and third choice for class times. You must complete the registration form and pre-pay the lesson fees to hold your spot for class. 
Please note that only the students will be allowed poolside with the instructors and lifeguards during lessons. This is for the benefit of the students so that their attention is focused on the instructor. Parents will need to leave the edge of the pool and be out of their child’s sight for those first acclimating moments. Parents are welcome for the last few minutes of class to see their child’s swimming progress.  

Pool Parties

All pricing includes facility rental, 2 lifeguards, and one supervisor.
     *Each additional hour: $55.00

- 2 hour party with 24 or LESS swimmers: $220.00
- 2 hour party with 25 or MORE swimmers: $220.00
    *PLUS $15.00/hour for EACH additional lifeguard
     GUARD to swimmer ratio:
     1: 10-12
     2: 12-24
     3: 25-36
     4: 37-49


Pool Memberships

ANNUAL - $175.00 for the first family member; $225.00 for two family members; $50.00 for each additional family member over the age of 15
SUMMER - $100.00 for first family member; $25.00 for each additional family member over the age of 14. (ENDS AUGUST 7). 


Saturday Boot Camp Series

9:00-10:30 a.m.
Don’t just get in shape FOR summer, stay in shape THROUGH summer! Join us this June and July for an 8 week boot camp series! We will be working in DEEP and shallow water; as well as performing some exercises out of the pool.
This event is a high intensity water workout that uses the resistance of the water in conjunction with your own body weight to tone muscle, increase stamina, and burn calories! Each Saturday we’ll focus on arms, abs, or legs (with lots of cardio in between) to help build a stronger, leaner body. This class can be a stand-alone boot camp ($6 per visit) or a series for your entire summer.

Cost for 8 Week Series - $32

              July 9, 16, 23, 30

Monday - Tuesday – Thursday - Saturday
(choose two, three or four days a week)

CARDIO & STRENGTH – 8:00-8:50 a.m. - deep water and 9:00-9:50 am – shallow water. Both classes are high energy, low joint impact class consisting of cardio combined with muscle training and toning (building). Designed for all ages who have some experience with exercising and for anyone looking to get really fit without doing the high impact land exercises which can cause damage to the joints.

AUGUST CLASSES will meet half an hour later at 8:30 and 9:30 AM.
August 1, 2, 4, 8, 9, 11, 12, 22, 23, 25, 29, 30.

Participants holding a Silver Sneakers membership card are eligible for a 25% discount upon presentation of their card to the instructor. LaGrange College employees 50% discount.

Payment: Checks should be made payable to Lagrange College.

Guest Policies: Participants are allowed to bring guests for one week at no charge. Guests must be 18 years or older. All guests must sign a release of liability.

Absences: Participants are encouraged to participate a minimum of 2 times per week to experience the optimal benefits of water exercise. If a long absence due to a death or serious illness is incurred, then please contact the instructor. At that time your session may be frozen to use at a later date.

Locker Rooms and Shower facilities are available to all participants.
